Veg/fruit/herbaceous borders and great views. Entry will be £4 per person, all proceeds to the NGS. £2 for tea/cakes/ice cream (gluten free). Please let Siobhan know by 13th May if tea is wanted etc as host needs to know one week in advance. Car-share please as parking may be restricted.
In Clun signs for YHA. Continue 1m up hill. Past cottages on left. At farm bear right through farm buildings. 100 yards at end of road. Garden on left.

Small holding with wildflower hay meadow, pools, eco cabin which have been created almost single handed by Pam Yuille, a retired Doctor. Collaborative projects with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust. Pam will give us a 2 - 3 hour guided tour. She will provide tea/coffee but please bring cakes. No charge but donations to SWT accepted. Take the A458 from Shrewsbury through Much Wenlock to Bridgnorth. At the first roundabout past the turn into Bridgnorth town, turn right onto the B4364. Take the 3rd road on the right (first right is a dead-end), it's on the left-hand bend, then 1st right.

Saturday 29th July 2pm - Rachel Striven's Garden, Pentirvin, (Nr Bentlawnt) SY5 0EZ (approx 6 miles south of Minsterley)
SOGS member and maste composter Rachel & her partner have created a beautiful garden on a challenging site which includes herbaceous/shrub borders, veg plot, deluxe compost 'bins' and a viewing platform. Rachel will provide some cakes but a few more would be appreciated. Car-share as much as possible as parking is retricted, and cars should be parked at the start of Pentirvin lane to Rachel's house. It is a five minute walk from there down a very steep lane and drive to the house.
From the Shrewsbury bypass (A5) take the A488 signed Ponterbury, Minsterley & Bishops' Castle. At Minsterely take the first exit on the roundabout still on the A488. Pass through Phlox Green and you will enter the Hope Valley. After 3.8 miles from Minsterely when the road gets to some sharp bends, keep a look out for some cottages by the road on the left. This is Hope. Contact Siobhan for further directions.
