Potato Day 2025

Just to give you all the annual heads up, Shropshire Organic Gardeners' Potato Day is back for its 21st year on Saturday 8th February 2025 at Wattlesborough Village Hall.

Start time - 9.30am 

Unfortunately seed potato harvests really suffered last year due to the weather but we will still have a good selection of organic and non-organic seed potatoes, 38 in total. As always, the beauty of our event is the ability to try small (or large) quantities of lots of different varieties. We have the usual very popular ones and some new varieties for you to try. 

Following last year's success CARD PAYMENTS will be accepted on the day for the seed potatoes.  We will still accept cash and we will still require cash payments for the cafe refreshments.

As always we will have Brighter Blooms (RHS Gold Medal Winners) back with us with their wide selection of fruit bushes/trees, seeds, onion and shallot sets, all of which you can pre-order via their own website and collect ready-packed on the day.

We have some new stalls and old friends returning too, and of course we have our kitchen providing good quality food, homemade cakes and drinks.
